Spain Is The Euro 2008 Champion !

I can't believed it !

Not that I am a supporter for Spain. I always believed that the Germans will triumphed in the finals. What a shock it was when I heard on the news that Spain won. Well done and congratulations, I would say. (Reason I supported Germany was because Michael Shumacher is a German, that's all)

I wonder how many ladies out there who are now rejoicing that Euro is over ? They finally get their husbands / fiances / boyfriends' attention back to them. I must say, I maybe one of the lucky one out there whom the husband totally dotted on me ... My syg was totally with me, showering much attention and love on me throughout the whole Euro game. We had our sleep as usual, every night, peacefully ... Thank God for my wonderful husband.

To all other ladies - Good luck with your man !

No Credit Card at Petrol Station ?

**Updated Post:

Looks like Petronas is giving assuarance that vehicle owners can still use their credit cards to pay for petrol. What about Shell, Esso and other petrol kiosks ? Are you doind the same thing also ?

**Previous Post:

This is the latest situation in Malaysia.

Now, petrol kiosk owners are saying that unless Government increase their profit margins, they will not allowed usage of credit cards at the petrol station.

So, in the end, because of global price increase on oil, the consumers are the one ended suffering. Just imagine everytime we need to pump petrol, we need to pay cash. And if "hujung bulan" already, we should all switch to using bicycles to work. In fact, we should even start using it now so that we will have enough money to spend on rice, meat, vege, etc .... And it doesn't do any good to withdraw money from the ATM machines - we might be rob, if the robbers havent carted away the ATM machine first.

What is becoming of the world today ? Is it a mission to destroy human population ?

2nd Check Up

Went for my 2nd check up last sat. Baby is doing fine. Is already 12 weeks old, and 6cm in length and I am now officially into my 2nd trisemester.

Asked Dr a few questions - on delivery packages, jauntice, accelerated heart beat. Dr. BK Tan answered all my questions, giving into detail on terms & conditions for the delivery package here in Selangor Medical Centre, i.e. what other additional charges they will charge me, etc...

Now, Dr. BK Tan has actually given us an option - to go for blood test for risk of baby having down syndrome. The test does not confirm whether the baby will be a down syndrome baby. All it does is actually to say if it is high-risk or low-risk. If low-risk, then I am safe for the possibility is actually 1 in every 600 woman, especially women that are of older age. If high-risk, then I need to go for another test (that is to test the water in my uterus,I think) for a confirmation.

I am in a dilemma - Should I go for this test (which cost about RM 200) or should I just pray that my baby will be normal and wait till delivery ? I think I should go for the test. But I am afraid somehow... I dunno ....

Confuse, confuse ....

Grand Prix de France

All red ...

Magny Cours - Ferrari once again dominated the race, bringing home 1 - 2 with Felipe Massa leading the Ferraris. Kimi was actually looked set to win the race but unfortunately his exhaust pipe broke and saw his race time was being cut down and eventually provide an opportunity for Felipe to overtake him.

Lewis Hamilton which was penalized due to last race's blunder saw himself taking 0 point this week (again) coz he was held up most of the time, not to mentioned another drive-through penalty for missing an Apex Turn and subsequently overtaking another car (at least that was what I saw). He says he is not guilty coz he already overtook the car but the race stewards deemed otherwise. Anyway, the best scoring Mclaren had for last night came from Heikki Kovalainen who scored P4, coming from P10. Not bad. But Jarno trulli was better. His car was obviously slower than Mclaren after 2nd pit stop but yet he managed to held off Heikki till the very end. I say, that was an experience driver. I salute you, jarno Trulli ! First podium I think for Toyota.

All in all, Felipe Massa is now leading the Driver's championship (48 points) and Ferrari is leadling the Constructor championship. Good week for Ferrari indeed ! Keep it up !

Lack Of Update

You must be wondering what in the world happenned to me the whole last week ? Not a single comment at all (which is rather suprising).

Well, I had a Critical Design Review for EMC last 2 weeks and another workshop on AIT Development and Operation last week, which practically leave me out of touch with my "beloved" laptop. **Sigh**

So, here I am ... Back for more updates ! Ciao !

Stupid Comment

This is what I would call a stupid comment from a not-so-bright person - LEWIS HAMILTON. To read more, just click here.
He has the guts to say the rule is harsh after he nicely rammed his car behind Kimi's who was stationary due to red lights. He must have his eyesight check.
Dun wanna say anymore. He is getting bigger in the head even when he has never been a world champion. I can't imagine Michael S. behaving like that, nor any other driver. What do you expect from a rookie after all ? A not-so-bright but claiming-to-be-one person ...

Cross oh Cross, Where Are Thou ?

**Update:

Hehehe.. I actually found my beloved cross that night itself, thanks to my syg... It was as if magic when he just came up behind me and "seluk" my back pocket, and there, on his hands, were the two missing pendants. Mind you, we did another search before that magical event.

I looked at him, stunned and I asked him how he did it because he was lying down on the bed just a minute before. He gave me a very suprising answer. He said a prayer while lying down and closing his eyes and he just allowed himself to be guided.

It made me reflect on myself - why didnt I trust in God's power ? "Ask, and you shall be given. Seek, and you shall find. Knock, and the door shall be open unto you." My syg even made a prayer the morn before when we sat down for our breakfast and sad to say, I find it amusing to request to God for helping me to find the pendants. In my heart, I wasthinking - "This matter is to trivial for God to handle." What a shame on me... I should have realized nothing is to trivial for God. I guessed this is a lesson for me.

Why have I not place God as 1st in my heart? Had I been so blissful nowadays that I forgotten about God ? Am I now a hyprocrite ? Only coming to God when I am in a "BIG" trouble ? Oh, so many questions, but yet to find an answer. One thing is certain though - I need to have a deeper relationship with God, to be able to confide in Him on all things.

**Previous Post:

I am referring to the cross pendant that I havd always wore, together with the "key" pendant that my mom gave and also the "monkey" pendant.

But this morn, when I woke up and take my bath, all my pendants are missing and my necklace was undone. I was thinking, "Ok, it should be on the bed." The minute I finished my bath, I went back to the room, switched on the lights and I saw the "monkey" pendant on the floor. It must be the one that I heard a "ting" sound earlier. Unfortunately, I couldn't find my cross and my key pendant. Is not underneath the pillow, is nowhere on the bed, nor was it hidden in the blacket.

Oh I do hope that it will appear again ... I am very sad coz it feels as though am I incomplete ... They said sad is not good for the baby, well, I can't help it ...

D**n.

Happy Birthday To You

Just wanna wish my sis - Lai Yenn a very happy birthday ....

May you continue to grow into a lovely and healthy gal.

Grande Mode

Congratulations on the soft opening of Grande Mode Boutique, located at 33-1, Jalan 1/4, Bandar Puteri, 47100 Puchong.

For those who are unsure of the place, it is actually located at one of the shophouses situated next to Giant Puchong.

I was there yesterday for the soft opening with Ek, mum and Lai Yee, and I must admit the dresses there to tempt me ALOT ! If not for my "bulging stomach" and "thin wallet", I am sure there are a lot of dress, blouse, skirts that I can consider. Even the shoes are exceptionally one of a kind. Not to mention discounts availbility ... Good for bargain hunters. Fit for a queen yet affordable - that is Grande Mode.

So, in the end, I ended up buying a dress (that I can wear even if I am 5 months pregnant later) and a pair of beige color sandal for upcoming wedding functions.

Here are some of the pictures shocasing Grande Mode:

Grande Mode is located at 1st level

Many types of dresses , blouses available for your pick. Price is affordable to, not exceeding RM200. Short dresses cost less than RM150. Some even at less than RM100.

This whole set (excluding shoes) cost about RM80 only. My sis bought one whole set of this.

Some new fashion displayed

Enchanting evening gown

Some of the bags and shoes on display. Perfect fit for those who are looking for dresses to attend functions.

The atmosphere is so cosy and comfortable

Big mirror for the customers, and not forgetting a sofa set that looks so comfy that my niece jumped on it and continue her "beauty sleep". Also for meant for husband's, boyfriends or guy friends to have a sit and wait for their wives, girlfriends to parade in front of them. Kekekeke...

And tada .... The owner of Grande Mode. On your right, ladies and gentlemen, please give a BIG HAND for Jacky Woo.

Maybe next time I should let you guys see what I have purchased from Grande Mode. But was too tired last night to take a good shot at the dress. Maybe later folks. Till then, I shall keep you updated if there is any new items available for sale.

Jacky can be contacted at 016-5548684 or 012-5918663.

Tada .....

Montreal GP

Didnt get to watch this Canada Montreal GP. It was showed live at 1am this morning (which I was already in a very deep slumber) so only get to know the results this morn.

And I am not happy to read at all that McLaren Rookie ruined Ferrari's chance of winning the race just because he couldnt see that there are 2 drivers in front in front of him that had stopped due to red light at the pit lane. Is he blind or what ? But luckily the F1 stewards penalized him 10 grids position for the next race in Magny-Cours. I applaud the decision made the stewards. He spoiled people's race but doenst feel any remorse to it. One does wonder if he does it purposely coz apparently Ferrari made a jump on him, overtaking him in the pit lane.

Anyway, it is a reason for celebration for BMW Petronas. Kubica's maiden win in 2008 and he is now leading the race pack ahead of Felipe Massa, Lewis Hamilton and Kimi Raikonnen.

I hope Ferrari will bounce back. Didnt want McLaren to win the race at all !

Hamilton's blunder causes Kimi's chance of winning the race

No Red Color on the podium - but congratulations to Kubica and Heidfield

Frustrated

Damn the person who made the announcement yesterday evening. 78 cents of increase in the petrol is toooooooo much la.. Is he really that stupid ?

How do you think people like us live ? Every cent is accounted for, k. Not like you, everything also the Rakyat pay for you. Your house, your trip to Australia, your clothes, your allowences... Damn it..

You mentioned the subsidy will be channelled to food instead. I just like to see how you do that. Increase in petrol means increase in transportation fees. Increase in transportation means increase of price of goods. So how you gonna control ? Stupid man, never think the consequences. You think by giving us money annually can help to reduce our problem is it ?

This is definately the case of the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer. It is unethical and socially unjust.

One does wonder, a country like us, who has petroleum resources, should not be facing such an increase in petrol. Yeah, it is still cheaper than our neighbouring country, but one does wonder - how much do we earn compared to our neighbour ?

What a frustrating morn to begin with !

Really dumb**s !

Just A Little Prayer Before Begin Work

My Heavenly Father, as I enter this work place, I bring Your presence with me, I speak Your peace, Your grace, Your mercy and Your perfect order into this office. I acknowledge Your power iver all that will be spoken, thought, decided and done within these walls.

Lord, I thank You for the gifts You have blessed me with. I commit to using them responsibily in Your honor. Gove me a fresh supply of strength to do my job. Anoint my projects, ideas and energy so that even my smallest accomplishment may bring You glory.

Lord, when I am confused, guide me. When I am weary, energize me. When I am burned out, infuse me with the light of the Holy Spirit. May the work that I do and the way I do it bring faith, joy and smile to all that I come in contact with today.

And oh Lord, when I leave this place, give me traveling mercy. Bless my family and home to be in order as I left it. Lord, I thank You for everything You've done, everything You're doing and everything You're going to do.

In the name of Jesus I pray, with much love and thanksgiving.

Amen.

Morning Sickness

Now, how do you define morning sickness ? Does it happen only in the morning ? Well, unfortunately for me, it happen in the evening, with 3 to 5 pm being the worst...

Nausea is one thing. I always seems to be nauseted every now and then but 3 to 5 will be the worst time. Sometimes I even ended throwing whatever left in my stomach.

I can't wait for this period to be over. According to people, it should be gone after 12 weeks. I am already in Week 10, 2 more weeks to go.

I must say, i didn't really like the feeling of being nauseted all the time. I need the energy, I wanna feel the joy of having a new life in me. I do feel amazed occasionally, but not when I feel like throwing up.

Luckily this is a a standard procedure, and of course, I always have Ek with me... That helps a lot.

The Recent Me

For anyone of you who wonder how I look like after marriage, this is a pic of me ... Kekekeke.. I sure dun look very pregnant yet....

Adhwa and Hana

Heartiest congratulations to Adhwa and Hana, who got married on the 31st May 2008. We attended the reception on 1st June, which was held at Dewan Tan Sri Mahfuz, Kementerian Kerja Raya.

"Bagaikan pinang di belah dua" - both of them looked so splendid and "malu-malu"... Hehehehe...

Here are some of the photos taken of them :

Semoga bahagia hingga ke akhir hayat .... :)

Misa Tadau Kaamatan om Hari Gawai

On the 1st June 2008, we had our 2nd Misa Kaamatan and Gawai at Gereja Katolik Fatima, Banting, Selangor. But this time it was more meaningful. We had full participation from our members, who had just recently "graduated" from RCIA class and thus became a full-fledged Catholics.

Looking back at last year, this year we did not organize any sport events for the kids. Lack of time, funding are our main issues, of course. But nevertheless, to see everyone together has been such a great feeling, so great that it even surpasses the feeling of tiredness.

Here are some of the pictures taken during fellowship after the mass.
