Daniel is now 2 years and 9 months already. How quick the time flies. He is getting chubbier now - always wanting to munch on something. He has a big appetite (thank god), so not much of a problem feeding him.
Here are some recent pictures of him ...

Daniel's Passport
We planned to go Singapore on the last week of December. Therefore, we need to get Daniel's passport ready in time. Being a first timer, I thought one day would settle everything. So, a week before, Egbert took Daniel, my mum and Lai Yenn to do their passport.
Reached there, took Daniel's picture, lined up and took the number. Then the Immigration officer asked:
Officer: "Anak ni nak buat passport Sabah ke Semenanjung ? Ikut ayah ke mak ?
Egbert: "Huh ? Ada beza ke ?"
Officer: "Kalau ikut mak (Semenanjung), rugilah semua priviledge anak negeri Sabah."
Egbert: "Oh, ya ke ? Kejap. I call my wife dulu ye."
Ring... Ring.... Ring...
Egbert: "Syg, passport Daniel mo buat ikut ayah ka ikut mak ?"
Me: "Huh, apa itu ?"
Egbert: "Kalau Sabah, retain la semua priviledge anak negeri Sabah. Tapi kalau semenanjung, hilang la priviledge dia. Tapi mo makan masa sebulan"
Me: "Ha! Lamanya. Next week mo pi Singapore suda. Apa priviledge dia?"
Egbert: "Emmm, beli tanah, kerja, semua la... So, mcm mana?"
Me: Silence for a while ......
Me: "Ok la, ok lah, ikut Sabah la... Kalu tia sempat, biarlah tu Singapore. Turun JB sajalah"
Egbert: "Butul ? Confirm ?"
Me: "Iya, butul... Kasi ikut ko saja lah..."
Off the phone.... Tanda protes + tia suka + tia gembira + lain-lain...
So, in the end, Egbert went back to do Daniel's passport, making sure Daniel to follow after him so that he will be entitled to all the priviledges a Sabahan should get.
I guessed God work in a miracle way. The officer said to call back within a week to checked is the Immigration department at Sabah had approved Daniel's application. So, true to the officer's word, on Monday we called and the application had been approved. We were asked to come and proceed with the payment and passport collection.
I was truly thankful to God for granting my wish. Thank you...

Is Marriage Just A Piece Of Paper Or Is It Still A Sacred Vow Between Two Person ?
Well, the reason I asked this question was I came across some pictures on FB. Disturbing pictures, I would say. I may not be extremely close to this relative of mine, but we are family after all. And I kinda recall his lovely wife, and they have been married for quite some time. In fact, the eldest child must be around 10 years or so.
But I saw that the lady in the photo was slightly different. And I began to wonder, did my memory failed me ? Was this how the wife looks like, coz she doesnt seem any older than me, where else the gap between me and this relative of mine is 10 years. Somehow or rather, I assumed the wife should look more matured (not kiddo look). So I try and search for other photos and my suspicions came true. The intimate photo that I saw earlier differs from the wife that I remembered.
Is marriage this fragile ? 10 years of marriage could go down in drain if one is not careful. And I think the one that suffers most will be the children. Oh why is this happening ?Why happen to the vow "I'll always love you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health... "
Oh God, I asked for your grace, to enable me to love my syg more and more each day, to hold sacred our marriage vows together, and to build our family life on top of You, for You alone, is our Strength and Joy. Amen.

CNY 2010
I thought this year we will celebrate CNY together with Daniel since last year I was still in pantang. Unfortunately, po po passed away the month before, so this year we are also in pantang.
So, didnt go anywhere except had our reunion dinner at home, following day, all of us (minus Tiki) went to Genting.
Rest of the days were just spent at home, taking care of Daniel and Egbert, where both of them were sick. Haiya...
So, basically, there goes my 1 week of holiday ...

Morning Sickness
Now, how do you define morning sickness ? Does it happen only in the morning ? Well, unfortunately for me, it happen in the evening, with 3 to 5 pm being the worst...
Nausea is one thing. I always seems to be nauseted every now and then but 3 to 5 will be the worst time. Sometimes I even ended throwing whatever left in my stomach.
I can't wait for this period to be over. According to people, it should be gone after 12 weeks. I am already in Week 10, 2 more weeks to go.
I must say, i didn't really like the feeling of being nauseted all the time. I need the energy, I wanna feel the joy of having a new life in me. I do feel amazed occasionally, but not when I feel like throwing up.
Luckily this is a a standard procedure, and of course, I always have Ek with me... That helps a lot.
