An excerpt taken from an email... I think this is very true, and all of us should reflect on what is happening in our beloved country now.
China is coming up, India is coming up, Vietnam is coming up and now even Russia is on the rise. In this flat but wired world regardless of whether we are Malaysian Malay, Chinese or Indian, if Malaysia fails to progress, all of us will become history of this country.
Without the Malays, Chinese could not do well in the country and without the Chinese, Malays will not do well either. Both have to work together to uplift Malaysia and mitigate the acute impact that is being brought about by globalisation.
A true leader is someone who has the vision that focuses not just on one particular ethnic group in the country but instead nurture the future for everyone. A good leader is someone who knows what the biggest threat the country is facing and directs the people to stave off that threat. A good leader is also someone who is impartial in his ability to promote harmony in the country for as long as possible.

New PM
Yes, we will be having a new Prime Minister in few more months...
Current one decided not to contest anymore - citing nation's interest is his first priority. I am hoping the new one will be able to bring back harmony into the country, and spur the country to greater heights.
With the economy so low, and investors losing interest in us due to current political situation, much is needed to be done to bring back the confidence of those investors.
But first of all, the confidence of the people itself needs to be "revive".
Hope that there is gonna be a "new revival in the land .... "

Frustrated
Damn the person who made the announcement yesterday evening. 78 cents of increase in the petrol is toooooooo much la.. Is he really that stupid ?
How do you think people like us live ? Every cent is accounted for, k. Not like you, everything also the Rakyat pay for you. Your house, your trip to Australia, your clothes, your allowences... Damn it..
You mentioned the subsidy will be channelled to food instead. I just like to see how you do that. Increase in petrol means increase in transportation fees. Increase in transportation means increase of price of goods. So how you gonna control ? Stupid man, never think the consequences. You think by giving us money annually can help to reduce our problem is it ?
This is definately the case of the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer. It is unethical and socially unjust.
One does wonder, a country like us, who has petroleum resources, should not be facing such an increase in petrol. Yeah, it is still cheaper than our neighbouring country, but one does wonder - how much do we earn compared to our neighbour ?
What a frustrating morn to begin with !
Really dumb**s !

Tun Dr Mahathir's Blog

My favourite PM of all - Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamed. He has turned to blogging now and his blog is http://www.chedet.com/. I think I will be having lots of fun reading his articles.
This Is Odd...
I know that the Parlimentary session is going on now. In fact, it just started on Wednesday. Why is the PM going for Umrah now ? I thought last time he mentioned that it will be a full attendance from Barisan Nasional ?
Odd, odd, real odd case.
