Cameron Highlands - Here I Come

Yup, we are going away (yes, again) this weekend. This time is to Cameron Highland. Cameron is also another place which I had not step a foot onto since dunno how many years ago. I think, the last time I went was in 1992, during a school trip, after we had finished our UPSR. Imagine how small I was at that time (though mind you, I was NOT physically small).

We will be driving up tomorrow evening, after Syg finishes his work at 5. Wayne will be following us as well, so here comes another co-driver. Hehehehe....

Will be praying that the weather is good and we'll arrive safely at our destination. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, this is a trip organized by all of us - Pusat Angkasa Negara colleagues... Ummm, looks like we are very much closer compared to the whole Agency. Well, what can I say...

Gud News

Finally, after a long wait, some 8 of us received the letter of acknowledgement.

We are now Research Officers Q44 (Memangku).

Congrats to everyone.

Adhwa and Hana

Heartiest congratulations to Adhwa and Hana, who got married on the 31st May 2008. We attended the reception on 1st June, which was held at Dewan Tan Sri Mahfuz, Kementerian Kerja Raya.


"Bagaikan pinang di belah dua" - both of them looked so splendid and "malu-malu"... Hehehehe...

I Got A New Boss....

Yup, since my ex-boss resigned on 27 March, we are pretty much left alone. Just like a ship without a captain.

Now, we have a new boss - Maszlan Ismail (originally from ATSB). My ex-boss was also from ATSB. You must be wondering why ATSB, well, coz our agency is sooooo speacialized that we need someone of the same background to helm the ship.

I have heard stories about him a lot, not to mention he was the least favourite in my ex-boss's view. But I shall refrain myself from talking about it here. After all, I need to give him some time before I say anything.

Let see how he adapt to here. Dun forget we still have ex-boss' konco-konco around.

Till then - gambate gambate !!!!

Last Day..(Updated)

Updated Post - 11 April 2008:

And this is our last posing on that day - all of us minus the two apprentices, who decided not to join in nor contribute to the gift and makan-makan that we organized. Not that we didnt invite but decision is up to them. Probably coz we didnt do the same for her beloved boss, but hey, how to do if the boss doesnt even wanna see you ? Takkan la ambil ayam ganti kot (like in the Chinese movie where they substitute the groom/bride who isnt there with the chicken so that the wedding can go on)?

Who ? Me ? Noooo, sia masih lagi kerja di tempat yang sama..

Today, one of my colleague will be leaving us. He received a better offer at Proton and he will start afresh in mid-April.

I sincerely wish him all the best in the future. Kalau ada salah dan silap, tolongkan maafkan ya, Faizal... Thank you for giving me this opportunity to know you and I can say that you are indeed one true friend.
