Tanjung Bidara Beach Resort

Went to Tanjung Bidara Beach Resort recently. Syg got a Bengkel there, so me and Daniel just tag along since it was paid for.
The journey was about one hour plus, we exit at Simpang Ampat toll, and from there, drove to Tanjung Bidara. Road is kinda winding, but not so bad. Daniel was practically sleeping during the whole journey!

When we reached, we got a shock coz according to GPS, we are there but on site, all we saw was Kem Terendak and Tanjung Bidara public beach. There is no other sign of the resort. We were wondering if we are at the wrong place. Syg went down and asked a pak cik who was sitting nearby. The road leading to the resort was just beside the main parking place.

We had fun and rest there, well, at least for me and Daniel coz we practically sleep and sleep after each meal. Then we got up and brought Daniel to the swimming pool. First time actually for Daniel. He loves to sit at the edge and slides into the pool. Dare not play too long coz he was still down with flu and cough and not to mention, phlegm.
But overall, the place is in dire needs of a proper maintenance. The rooms were badly maintained, insects (especially big ants) crawling around the room. Paint coming off, broken pipes, furnitures, cleanliness and all sorts of amneties you would expect a resort to provide. Even our TV reception is bad. No ASTRO, TV 1 and TV 2 only. That also not clear.

Food preparation and presentation on the 1st night was bad but edible. At least, that was the only part that I feel improved as we stayed. But still not up to the excellent mark.

All in all, like I said earlier, good to have the weekend off by sleeping and watching Daniel enjoying himself. But if you are thinking to spend your money on a vacation at a resort, I would not recommend this one.
