Reasons To Be Detained Under ISA
Last Friday, 3 people were arrested under ISA. They are RPK, Teresa Kok and Sin Chew reporter, Tan. Tan had later been released.
I don't think I wanna speak about this on my blog. It is an insult to my intelligence hearing what our Home Mnister said about the arrest.
You can read it at the following bloggers' site - Rocky's Bru, Marina Mahathir, Nuraina A Samad, Maria A. Samad, Patrick Teoh and verify those statements at The Star Online.
It makes me sick knowing that the real culprits are only being reprimanded while those who are working for the sake of working are being detained.
Is there any hope for all of us ?
The Lord says - "Have faith in Me .... "

Peace And Unity
Malaysians are generally peaceful and united.
I am talking about us - the normal people, who goes about working and earning our daily wages, unlike those who think they were so "high" above, who doesn't need to work much, who think that they are looking after the welfare of their people.
Awa, a good friend of mine during our study years, in her posting today - "Sayang, Kau Bukan Orang Asing", reminds me of this little fact that most Malaysians, be it Malay, Chinese, Indian, Iban, Kadazan, Murut, Melanau, etc do not share the same sentiments of Bukit Bendera MP. We are GOD's highest creation - one with mind and soul. Therefore, it is only right that we behave like one and that means respect for God and for one another.
Awa, I love you lots...

The World Is Upside Down Now...
What the f*** ? The world is certaily going upside down.
When we were small, we were taught by our parents NOT to blame others for something wrong that we did.
This fellow had the guts to placed the blame on others, and telling him to "Get Out Of Barisan". Wa, Barisan belongs to you, is it ? If that is the case, then of course you can call the shots - to allow who you want to be with you. Probably those same people who are insane, uneducated, who do not advocate peace and unity, who had nothing else better to do and call other Chinese as immigrants.
Some more had the guts to ask innocent people to apologize to him ... I just say "Go To Hell" to these kind of people, who are blinded by his own ego.
I love all the friends I have. My best friend is a Malay. I also have good friends who are Chinese, Kadazan, Indian, Iban .... Why do you want to disrupt the unity that your forefathers had struggled to build ? You truly don't deserve to be called a Malaysian, let alone an UMNO leader.
May the Lord be kind enough to open your heart and your mind and especially your eyes to see the surrounding. You living in Malaysia is by the grace of God, so be thankful and count your blessings.

Debt-Free
Today, I am one step closer to being debt-free.
Why ?
I just settled my car loan in full ... **sob**sob**
There goes all my money (not all, I still have 1, 2 ringgit left)
I still need to pay for other stuff - house reno, lawyer fees, baby's need ...
Aiyo yo .. looks like I am still burdened with debts.

A Reminder To Us As A Christian
Several years ago, a preacher from out-of-state accepted a call to a church in Houston , Texas . Some weeks after he arrived, he had an n occasion to ride the bus from his home to the downtown area.
When he sat down, he discovered that the driver had accidentally given him a quarter too much change. As he considered what to do, he thought to himself, 'You'd better give the quarter back. It would be wrong to keep it.'
Then he thought, 'Oh, forget it, it's only a quarter. Who would worry about this little amount? Anyway, the bus company gets too much fare; they will never miss it. Accept it as a 'gift from God' and keep quiet.'
When his stop came, he paused momentarily at the door, and then he handed the quarter to the driver and said, 'Here, you gave me too much change.'
The driver, with a smile, replied, 'Aren't you the new preacher in town?'
'Yes' he replied.
'Well, I have been thinking a lot lately about going somewhere to worship. I just wanted to see what you would do if I gave you too much change. I'll see you at church on Sunday.'
When the preacher stepped off of the bus, he literally grabbed the nearest light pole, held on, and said, 'Oh God, I almost sold your Son for a quarter.'
Our lives are the only Bible some people will ever read. This is a really scary example of how much people watch us as Christians, and will put us to the test!
Always be on guard -- and remember -- You carry the name of Christ on your shoulders when you call yourself 'Christian.'
Watch your thoughts; they become words.
Watch your words; they become actions.
Watch your actions; they become habits.
Watch your habits; they become character.
Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.
I'm glad a friend forwarded this to me as a reminder.
The Will of God will never take you to where the Grace of God will not PROTECT you...
Stay FAITHFUL and Be GRATEFUL!
God Bless You.
Now I Am An Immigrant, Am I ?
Well, based on Bukit Bendera MP's recent remarks during the Permatang Pauh by-election, all Chinese are immigrants...
What the s**t is this guy talking ? I thought I am a Malaysian - my IC shows that I am one ... How come I am being labelled as an immigrant ?
Good thing was TPM apologized. Now, that is what I called a man who knows how to safe difficult situation, unlike this fellow who doesn't wanna say he is sorry and even planned to sue the reporter who reported this. This kind of people should not even be allowed to stay in this multiracial country.
What is becoming of Malaysia today ?

How Do I Look ?
Hehehe, I know it sounded vain ... But hell, who cares.... It is not like women get to be pregnant everyday of her life (hopes not...) so changes on the body is indeed a scary moment. What used to be slim and just alright now turns out to be huge. Ok, that is a bit exagerated, but hey, every part of my body seems to be swelling especially whenever I had a look at myself in the mirror every day and night ....
Ok, enough of that... I should expect all this to be coming along... Therefore, my resolution for the remaining months is "To eat only healthy food and whenever necessary. "
Actually, there are lots of good things that happened during my pregnancy. By the grace of God, I had no problem at all - be it sleeping, eating, walking, shopping, what so ever. That is why my syg so syg me - coz he dun have any problem taking care of me.... Pampered me some more ... Sure love that everyday of my life .... Kekekeke....
Ok, these are some pictures that I have taken when I was 22 weeks pregnant ... My friends were pestering me to post pics of me pregnant on the web ...
This photo makes me look so fat ... :(

First of all, congratulations to Alson and Bidot on their wedding 30.08.08. Me and Egbert flew back to KK on the 28.08.08 for their occasion.

Two Chimps and A Blonde
Another story that someone sent to me - this one is just for laughters ....
A blonde lady motorist was about two hours from the Gold Coast when she was flagged down by a man whose truck had broken down.
The man walked up to the car and asked, 'Are you going to the Gold Coast?"
'Sure,' answered the blonde, 'do you need a lift ?'
'Not for me. I'll be spending the next three hours fixing my truck. My problem is I've got two chimpanzees in the back which have to be taken to the Gold Coast Zoo.They're a bit stressed already so I don't want to keep them on the road all day. Could you possibly take them to the zoo for me? I' ll give you $100 for your trouble..'
'I'd be happy to,' said the blonde.
So the two chimpanzees were ushered into the back seat of the blonde's car and carefully strapped into their seat belts. Off they went.
Five hours later, the truck driver was driving through the heart of the Gold Coast when suddenly he was horrified!!
There was the blonde walking down the street and holding hands with the two chimps, much to the amusement of a big crowd.
With a screech of brakes he pulled off the road and ran over to the blonde.
'What the heck are you doing here?' he demanded, 'I gave you $100 to take these chimpanzees to the zoo.'
'Yes, I know you did,' said the blonde,' but we had money left over --- so now we're going to SeaWorld.'

For We Walk By Faith, Not By Sight
Anthony posted this in an email, and I was deeply touched by the story. It serves as a reminder to me that God is always there, guiding us day by day ...
I hope it will give you the same encouragement as it did for me...
The Legend of the Cherokee Indian Youth's Rite of Passage
Do you know the legend of the Cherokee Indian youth's rite of Passage? His father takes him into the forest, blindfolds him and leaves him alone. He is required to sit on a stump the whole night and not remove the blindfold until the rays of the morning sun shine through it.He cannot cry out for help to anyone. Once he survives the night, he is a MAN. He cannot tell the other boys of this experience, because each lad must come into manhood on his own.
The boy is naturally terrified. He can hear all kinds of noises. Wild beasts must surely be all around him. Maybe even some human might do him harm. The wind blew the grass and earth, and shook his stump, but he sat stoically, never removing the blindfold. It would be the only way he could become a man!
Finally, after a horrific night the sun appeared and he removed his blindfold.
It was then that he discovered his father sitting on the stump next to him. He had been at watch the entire night, protecting his son from harm.
We, too, are never alone. Even when we don't know it, God is watching over us, sitting on the stump beside us. When trouble comes, all we have to do is reach out to Him.
Moral of the story:
Just because you can't see God, doesn't mean He is not there. 'For we walk by faith, not by sight. Trust in Him and do right.
I hope it will give you the same encouragement as it did for me...
